Morocco isn’t known for its cheese production however there are some small producers and cooperatives creating delicious products. We’re so happy to be able to share one of them with this tour. Marrakech Food Tours owner Amanda grew up in Wisconsin, the largest cheese-producing area in the United States, and has been searching for the best partner for this tour for over 5 years!
Join this half-day trip to a village about 45 minutes from Marrakech where you’ll be able to see the production process at the cooperative, have a delicious cheese-filled brunch, and visit the farm where the goats live before returning to the city (if time permits).
Both goat and cow milk cheese are made here depending on the season.
