Your tour guide will meet you at the post office in Jemma el Fna. From here you’ll take a short walk to learn a little bit about Morocco during Ramadan and see the streets as they clear and people pick up last minute items for their celebrations at home. We’ll be sitting down to eat as the 4th daily call to prayer is announced and the breaking of the fast commences.
You will eat a full meal with this experience so no need to make additional plans!
Please note when making your reservations;
This tour starts promptly at 7pm. Due to the nature of this tour and needing to eat at a specific time, we will not be able to wait for or return for late arrivals. The guide will wait a maximum of 10 minutes from the start time and then depart. The guide can not return for latecomers or give directions to meet the group at a later time. No refunds will be issued in the case of no-show guests.
Walk
We'll explore a little of the medina as it empties out in preparation for the breaking of the fast.
Eats!
Then, we'll sit down in a hidden corner for a home-cooked meal with Moroccan locals.
Because we operate very small group tours it is very important that we have an accurate count ahead of time. When you purchase your ticket you have the option of including insurance on your ticket. This is offered by an outside company that we have partnered with. If you are worried that you may need to cancel your tour please review this and consider purchasing.
If your tour is under 2 weeks away and you need to cancel we can not offer you a refund or exchange. Please consider this when making your reservation.
Children are allowed on our tours. We would love to have them join us!
Please be sure and let us know if you (or anyone in your group) has a dietary restriction (e.g. vegetarian, diabetic, allergy, etc.) when you purchase your tickets. We do our best to accommodate a variety of dietary needs however, in some cases and for some tours we can not make accommodations.
Yes, limited bathrooms are available during the tour however we advise our guests to not plan on availability. On the sandwich tour and evening street food tour facilities are very limited.
