Join a local guide and fellow food enthusiasts to “walk” the kasbah! On this walking food tour we’ll explore two of the oldest neighborhoods in Marrakech – the kasbah and the mellah. Find out why these areas are important while eating along the way.
We’ll start with a food that’s a favorite of local children followed by several stops to try different foods while walking the centuries old streets.
Different fillings and different breads of course. When the night is done you’ll have learned about these neighborhoods, have a full belly and hopefully confidence to go out and take on the street food scene without a guide. Just like our signature street food tour you can be guaranteed enough food on this tour that you won’t need to eat anything afterwards!
This is a true street food tour so some stops will be sitting down while at others we’ll eat our food standing. Be prepared for anything!
This is one of our favorite spots for sandwiches in all of Marrakech - we think you'll love it too!
The Taxi Stand
Sure the location might surprise you but this unique stop is an institution.
Another surprise sandwich that usually ends up being one of our guests favorite discoveries. These aren't tinned sardines, no not at all!
Is this Spanish?
Don't let the name of these sandwiches throw you for a loop.
We can't end the night without something sweet!
The meeting point for this tour is in front of Bab Aganou at the front entrance of the Kasbah of Marrakech.Get Directions
Absolutely not! Our tours combine culinary history, a bit or history, local culture and storytelling to bring to life the medina of Marrakech. Imagine walking through the city eating delicious foods while learning the neighborhoods from real locals.
Yes, advance ticket purchase is required. Events typically sell out quickly. To maximize your chances of getting the date, time, and number of tickets you prefer, please book well in advance.
Yes, limited bathrooms are available during the tour however we advise our guests to not plan on availability. On the sandwich tour and evening street food tour facilities are very limited.
The tours are held rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, we will do our best to avoid exposure. Marrakech has sunshine most days of the year so this is a very limited possibility. However, we advise to check the weather conditions for your days event and dress appropriately. Also keep in mind evenings especially in winter can get quite cold, bring a sweater or jacket!
